JOY TO THE WORLD

Clipart

It's been an unusual holiday season for us this year. We were traveling during the Thanksgiving season and didn't get home until the second week of December. Not a lot of time or energy to decorate but we are so thankful for a multitude of God's blessings…Kim has some relief from pain and a plan for the future, a precious new/only granddaughter, loving grandsons and children. Precious family and friends and blogging friends. Bob and I are still awaking in the morning and praising our Lord for another day.

Today's post was originally published in December 2010. I would like to share it with new and old friends as this is how I feel about

"THE REASON FOR THE SEASON"

OUR SAVIOR
CHRIST THE LORD

This is the season during which we,
as a testament to our faith, choose to
REJOICE AND
CELEBRATE HIS BIRTH

MAY EACH OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES
BE RICHLY BLESSED DURING THIS
OUR HOLY CELEBRATION

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I am celebrating here:

Dearest Ginger,
Lovely post and yes, we ALL can count our blessings and we ought to reflect on the Real Reason for the Season! That is NOT the frenzy about the over done commercialism. Maybe, if you had a chance for reading my post: {Like Princess Diana, I also Tried to Tackle the Leprosy Stigma} http://networkedblogs.com/S8mqg
you certainly will better understand what our feelings are.
Wishing you and Bob many more years for counting your true blessings and a relaxed 4th of Advent leading into a meaningful Christmas!
Hugs,
Mariette

Merry Christmas, Ginger, I love your all white Nativity, so elegant. I also love how you had the other Nativity lit up underneath the angels hair - that's a great idea. You're invited to my History & Home link party, each Tuesday -Friday, and have a Merry and blessed Christmas - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com
