CAN YOU SOLVE THIS MYSTERY?

I definitely DO NOT believe in magic but this is too cool! It has to be in the computer coding but I can't explain it. Do any of you techno heads out there know how this works. I may have to call on my son or grandsons to explain this to Granny!
~~~~~~~~
MY FRIEND IN GLASGOW, SCOTLAND SENT THIS TO ME. I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT. CAN YOU? TRY THIS OVER AND OVER USING DIFFERENT CARDS, IT WORKS EVERY TIME. MAYBE IT IS PROGRAMED TO KNOW THE LAST CARD YOU LOOKED AT…SPOOKY!
Please leave a comment and tell me how you think this is done! OK, I FIGURED IT OUT! I feel so dumb!
None of the cards in the first hand are in the second hand. Naturally, the card you chose would not be in the second hand. This was not a card trick, or a computer trick. It was a mind game. Odds are, most of us just trusted that the same face cards were in the second hand so when we saw ours was not there, we were puzzled.
He certainly knows how the masses think. Kudos for him, persimmons for me!
I have followed your blog for sometime, now and have enjoyed each post. Tonites post - you mentioned your friend in Glasgow - is that Montana? I have lived in Glasgow for many years and am just curious I know that it ends up being a small world!
Yvonne, I do not have an email for as your comment is coming up "do not reply". My friend lives in Glasgow, Scotland. I should have been clearer. I will change that now.
Thanks for your visit. Ginger
As far as David Copperfield and his card trick - all the cards are gone. Write down the cards and then compare them to the ones shown after he takes one away. You will see they aren't the same cards and he just removed one to make it look like he guessed your card.
Sue, Thank you for taking the time to find the solution. The answer was in the last part of the post. I am guessing that you missed that. I appreciate your playing the game with us. I tried to forward the 12/31/13 email outlining the solution to you but you have your email address turned off. You were spot on, thanks for playing along.
Have a blessed week, Ginger
