This was my very first Tablescape
in blog land!

I was scared to death to put up a tablesetting.
My photography has gotten a little better but not much.
Since nothing was purchased specifically for that table and most of was bargain priced when purchased, I am posting this for The Thrifty Groove's Thrifty Tablescape Party as well as Sunday Favorites.

Well, I have certainly enjoyed my first two weeks in your world.
Thanksgiving is a special time of the year
Of course we all know that.
It is special this year because I have made so many new friends. I wish each of you a blessed Thanksgiving
Come, let's go into the Dining Room
Everything I am using can go into the dishwasher
We are having a casual dinner and
we will be entertaining
my daughter and two grandsons from Illinois
.
I am starting with an inexpensive tablecloth with fall colors and leaf patternA natural woven charger and simple plate
Layered with linen napkins, everyday salad plate,
decorative leaf plate and covered soup bowl.
No pumpkin soup here, we're serving
Clam Chowder
Ladle is a treasured piece
Of course we are serving iced tea and
with turkey, we will also offer white wine.
You saw portions of the centerpiece at MM
Susan probably got a better deal on
her black version of this flatware
Now just look around
The quality is terrible, I am learning.
Had to trash most of the darker shots
I am preparing for Thanksgiving but
these next pics are TOOOOO spooky!
Does anyone remember the movie "Wicker Man"?
Is a visitor peeking in the window?

Wow
that is all I can say because it just looks so amazing.
Wow!
A Magnificent table! I have the goblets with the leaves on them also. I expecially like the flatware. Never seen it before. Beautiful!
I adore this. Absolutely ADORE it, Ginger. And I really, REALLy loved that little Scarecrow from Oz who made his way to the table. Where oh where did you find him? There are so many cute elements, I don't even know where to start, so I'll just say looks GREAT.
It's funny because I know how similar our tables would be if set with our fine china and crystal since we have the same of the former and similar of the latter. One of the MANY reasons I love YOU!
XO,
Sheila

What a great fall table, Ginger, and it does not look thrifty at all! I love that scarecrow head with the glowing eyes. xo
You had no need to fear - I think it looks beautiful!
You did a wonderful job! I look forward to this year's table! Love the pumpkin soup bowls! hugs, Linda
Hi Ginger...
So happy to have you join in with the Sunday Favorites party this week, my friend! So this was your very first tablescaping post? Sooo awesome! Tablescaping and posting about them...sure is addicting! Hehe!
Well dear lady, your Thanksgiving table is lovely! I seen several items that we have in common. I just found those pretty autumn leave stems at Dollar Tree last month...of course, I had to have them! And...last week I purchased two sets of the same flatware that you shared on this post...only I bought mine in white. Hoping to use them at Christmas. A very beasutiful Thanksgiving table, my friend! Thank you for sharing it with us for Sunday Favorites!
Warmest autumn wishes,
Chari
