DID YOU KNOW JUNE IS NATIONAL ICED TEA MONTH?
WHAT, JUNE IS ALMOST OVER?
HEY, WE HAVE THE HOTTEST DAYS AHEAD,
WE'RE JUST GETTING STARTED!
The folks at
and
purveyor of fine tea products offered me the opportunity
to review their tea and to offer a nice giveaway to my friends.
We all know tea has been around since Methuselah was a baby.
Early cookbooks from England and America indicate that tea cold tea has been served at least since the early nineteenth century. Those beverages were green tea punches and heavily spiked with liquor. The oldest printed recipes were made with green tea and not the black tea normally used for iced tea today.
One of those olden punches was Savannah's own "Chatham Artillery Punch". Chatham being the name of the county in which Savannah is located.

I chose to try and review The Green Tea, Peach and Nectarine
family sized teabags for iced tea.
I was not compensated for my review. I did receive their product to test and review. The assessment is my own opinion.
Bob and I loved this iced tea. We KNOW iced tea! If you are from Georgia, you love iced tea and peaches. Additionally we love nectarines.
Not only was this refreshingly delicious but you could get a whiff of the aroma of peaches and nectarines. I don't know how they did that!
If their other products are as good as this, you are in for a treat!
Salada also has an extensive line of Wellness Green Teas

Dearest Ginger,
What a lovely post and I feel like wanting to sit down, under the fan and sip a huge iced tea!
Too bad that the picture from Housekeeping in Old Virginia did not load...
Hugs to you,
Mariette
I make a pitcher of iced tea every day and this would be a nice give-away to win! Thanks for the chance Ginger and have a great weekend:@)
This is a sweet giveaway, Ginger! Hope you are staying cool. xo
Well, I am here to support you but I can't drink tea! Sadly, not because I love it. Great post!!! xo Diana
Hmmm...I did NOT know that June is National Tea Month. I think EVERY month should be National Tea Month! I really like it. Nothing like a glass of cold iced tea in the summer! I know tea ain't tea unless it's sweet in the South, and I love it that way. My waist line begs to differ, though! :-)
What a nice giveaway!
I adore tea and would love to be entered in your giveaway Ginger.
I'm a follower.

I drink ice tea year round
and love a tea named Summerpudding
Ginger, I love peach tea and looked at Kroger today for it, but all they had were the other flavors. I'm on a mission now and headed to Publix and Walmart. Oh, they had mango tea, in addition to the raspberry and and the berry mix, but the peach is calling me. Pretty photo of the pitcher of tea.
Ginger, this is a great giveaway and I hope I'm not too late to enter. I make tea everyday, and I've been mixing black tea and green tea for some very flavorful tea. I would love to try the peach tea, and best of all, I'd love that community cookbook. You know that I collect them, don't ya?
I liked Red Rose on FB!
I liked Salada on FB! Hope you have a great Fourth of July, Ginger!

The Salada Peach and Nectarine sounds delicious, but I can't find at either Publix or Kroger. They have every flavor except that. :( I'm checking out a couple of other stores near here. Thanks for telling us about it.
What a great variety of teas. They sound good and look good. Not too sure if I can get them here. I'm off now to have my cup of black tea.
