MORPHED FROM VISITOR TO BLOGGER!!!

Thank you, Susan for your beautiful
"Between Naps On The Porch"
and the opportunity for bloggers to meet here each Monday
and share ideas and tips for making life special.

Please remember to link back to BNOTP and visit all the great blogs participating in Metamorphosis Monday

FIRST POST EVER!!

After following many blogs for almost a year, I have decided to morph into one of you.  I know my blog looks plain but so am I.  As I have noted in  my profile, I am older than you. Well, most of you.  Please call me Ginger or Granny (I am most often called Granny).  I am a grandmother of five wonderful grandsons
and the mother of three fantastic children.  For 52 years I have been the challenging wife of  my Sweet Ole Bob.

Me and my (Sweet Ole) Bob
Guess which one of us is napping AGAIN!

I have limited knowledge of this publishing game.  I thought a gadget was a new kitchen utensil and  I didn't know a blogging MEME  from a HTML. With that said, please be patient with me while I learn to "blog".

Today, I would like to take you on a day trip through our "Wonderful Life".  It IS a "Wonderful Life" because of and in spite of the trials and challenges we have encountered on this magnificent  journey called "Life".

Our life is filled with love of  faith,  family,  friends, holidays, gardening and travel.

I personally love

dishes and

decorating my home. I

especially love dishes.

Now, if I can just find my contacts we can get started.

WELL, HANG ON HERE WE GO!

OUR FAITH

                     CELEBRATIONS
 Jon, the youngest grandson
He performed at Carnegie Hall this summer

Timothy one of the oldest grandsons
No one will admit to decorating this cake!

This guy wishes to remain anonymous
Yes, I said guy!

Timothy's Undergrad 12/09
This one is studying Nuclear Engineering.
Doesn't talk to me about school!

DO YOU SEE A PATTERN HERE?
Yes, we will celebrate the mail delivery with a cake and I AM a proud Granny!  Sorry!

Thank you so very much  for visiting!

I hope that you enjoy my attempt at blogging.  Please stop by in the future for another visit in my Lucy and Ethel existence.

Thanks again  for visiting and please leave a comment to let me know what you think.  If you like what you see please follow me and I will try to entertain you.  Hopefully something I say will make you smile or touch your heart
Any suggestions for improving my skills will be greatly appreciated.
Hugs, Granny

Next time I would like to show you the awesome giant blown glass art of

Congratulations on becoming a blogger. I was so afraid to start because I didn't want to feel hooked in, and now I am totally hooked. Granny, it looks like you have a wonderful life and I can't wait to get to know you better. I am just a beginning blogger too and just started in May, but you seem to have it all down. We are learning together. I love being a grandma too, it is the best, had I known I would have skipped being a mother (just kidding) but it sure is fun isn't it. So nice to meet you. I will be your first follower.

Welcome to blogland my dear!I loved hearing about your family--I also LOVE calla lilies! I brought a few with me from my garden in California, but they haven't done well here in North Carolina and don't bloom much. Please tell me your secret to growing them in the South! I love Savannah, too, by the way!

Welcome to Blogland, Ginger. I am so glad you decided to hop in. As I am reading your blog, I feel like I am reading mine. We really have so much in common, including going on cruises. Maybe we have seen each other in one of them. I love Monte Carlo too, the port is so beautfiul with all the wonderful big yachts. We travel a lot too and people advice me to just keep a suitcase packed and I read that you do that, lol. Of course I am a dishaolic too, I must have at least 20 sets of dishes, maybe more. I love decorating and gardeing too and of course, I love my grandkids and my whole family. I am so glad to have met you.....Christine
