New and exotic shrub discovered
on Georgia barrier island!
Never before seen by man nor beast.
It looks like hydrangea but look closer.
Sweet Ole Bob came back from taking out the trash. He says to me. "Did you see that?" "What", I asked. "There are hydrangeas growing from the Formosa azalea out by the service yard." "Really?", I say.
Sure enough, beautiful blue hydrangea blossoms and they are really growing out of the azalea bush.
This floral paint can be used on fresh and dried flowers.
This came from Michael's.
I haven't figured out a way to dry them to retain their beautiful blue color. And everyone knows that I LOVE blue.
I will store them here for now. I will decide what to do with them later. Just now, I am trying to wipe that silly grin from my face. Sweet Ole Bob is just shaking his head in wonder.
One pic accidentally got part of my breakfast room shelf. I will post about this shelf later. I gotta go back outside. It is a beautiful day. I have spray painting to do and new shrubs to discover.
Just so you know, I didn't intend to play a joke on Bob. I had just stuck the hydrangeas in the azalea for the paint to dry. He was too funny.
See you guys, stay young at heart!
I am joining up with this crowd of fantastic ladies:
