TAKE A GANDER AT THIS GOOSE!!!

Reposting a favorite for Katherine's Corner

"Favorite Things "blog hop Here!

AND A FINE GOOSE IS SHE!!

Wanted to share this week's free flowers.
You can read more about my free flowers
Sweet Old Bob came home from his grocery shopping
with these!

My sweet goose tureen is today's container
Isn't she beautiful? She's really giving me the eye!
I've never used her for soup
She is really a versatile lady.
I know I am going to need more material
to satisfy her appetite!
Let's see what I can find outside.
We had some really cold days in December,
don't know what I can come up with.

Not much to choose from. A little pine, ivy, fern, lavender, jasmine and holly. That will do.

Let's get started a purple fellow here and a yellow blossom here. It's coming along

Don't know what this is but I sure like it.
She's getting pine for tail feathers.

Let's see, I am really liking her now.
Just a little more preening!
Can't tell any difference can you? I can.
I think Miss Goosey will like it by the window.
Let's see how much you weigh.
You did well over the Holidays.
Love your pine tail feathers!
I really like those green fuzzies!
Yes, she's a fine lady indeed!

Sooooo, free flowers, a little yard trash
and Miss Goosey.  Look BOB!
He loves to see how his flowers turn out.

WHATTA YOU THINK?

Now that's another thrifty centerpiece!

Please join me and the following gracious hostesses:

I love your arrangement. I do the flowers for our church and community arts affairs, so I am always looking for thrifty-especially in the winter when nothing is blooming in my yard.I often add greenery from my garden to store bought bouquets.Isn't it fun to use containers not meant for flowers.

Ginger, I think she's as cute as can be!

One of my favorite arrangements we did in swan topiaries for a charity event, and I used them again for my 25th anniversary party some years ago. You did a super job, and I can see that being a super cute centerpiece for a spring tablescape, too.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Your goose is adorable but not as adorable as your "Sweet Bob". Does he know he's got a big fan club going on out here? :)

Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

That is a lovely arrangement indeed. And sweet Ms. Goosey looks so much better all decked out with flowers and greenery than she ever would with a belly full of gravy!

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world. Best wishes, Tammy

Ginger, your arrangement is absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful job! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for grabbing a button! It's been a long time since I made mine, but I just googled " how to make a grab button" and searched for a site where I could understand the directions! The first thing you have to do is make the design of a button- I made mine in Paint. Mine is just a photograph with my name on it. After I saved my new button pic as a photo, I followed the instructions for the code on a website. Hope that helps!

Use what you have, right? She's so pretty with those beautiful flowers from your wonderful Bob, and I love what you found out in your yard. She looks so cute sitting up there on the scale. Thanks for the inspiration.

That goose is a hoot. Who would think his head would pop off and be the spoon. Very pretty arrangement.

What a neat tureen with the ladle as the goose head and neck. You made a very pretty flower arrangement and it just gave me an idea, thanks! I am going to cut some holly berries outside and put them in a tureen too....Christine
