Summer Centerpiece

I made a collage on PicMonkey!


Remember when I shared this?


Really neat little bottles with carrier.
That I won from Verbena Cottage

Well this is how they look today!
 I gathered a variety of flowers that were blooming in my garden. I chose things that were light and airy. I chose Hydrangea buds, Ivy, Angelonia in white and fuchsia and Diamond Frost® - Euphorbia graminea, the tiny white flower with the spidery stems. I especially love this Euphorbia but it is very delicate and is hard to use in bouquets without breaking the stems. It is worth the effort.
 I think this little Frenchy tray looks great with
the runner I made for my kitchen table many years ago.
 I loved this fabric because it looked like a Monet garden. I made two runners for my round oak table.
 Since I no longer use the round table the runners don't quite fit the length of the table. But I am adapting.
In the background you can see my French country kitchen chairs. They are a story for another post. 
I think this centerpiece is a perfect match for these runners. What do you think?

    Hi, I popped over from Seasonal Sundays and am glad that I did! I love the flowers (some of them I've never seen before) The table runner is lovely too ...as you said...very Monet's garden...not that I've been there but friends have and I've seen the photos! I was interested in the French chairs and loved the glimpe of the translucent white and gold edged china. I need to see what happens next so think I'd better join your followers! Joan

    Sooo pretty,I love a bunch of mixed cottage flowers. Looks great in those bottles. I think the little white petal edged plate in the left corner of one of the pics is maybe a next post. xx

    Yes, it is perfect...and you are right...the table runner does look like Monet's garden!!...Very, very pretty flowers on the table...they look great in those bottles!

    Very Frenchy -- is it a tablescape??? Pretty - I remember that fabric and always loved it. The bottle carrier is a great centerpiece, too.

    Hi Ginger. You need to take some the green off of your thumb and mail it to me!!! You have the most wonderful blooms in your garden. You're right - the colors in the arrangement are just perfect with the fabric of the table runners. Are your french chairs the hint for a future post or is there something else that my old eyes are missing???? xo
