I was recently contacted by One Kings Lane and asked to help introduce their 
"Home Decor Resource Guide"

I was asked to choose a "Statement Chair" in my home to share.

Just what is a "Statement Chair"?
Do you have one, do you even want one?

After consulting One Kings Lane's Home Decor Resource Guide,  I discovered I had several "Statement Chairs". I absolutely loved the guide, it was chock full of helpful information and included  furniture of all styles from pre-1600 to present. I had so much fun researching the history of several styles, I had to make myself stop.

Many years ago I built this shelf in my breakfast room. I needed space for a growing collection. I just LOVE shelves as some of you know.

I keep some of my pitchers and teapots on this shelf in the breakfast area. Like most of you, I tend to use the same items over and over for everyday so these end up as display.
