A SOUTHERN GRANNY DOES SNOW!

Most of you know that this southern granny
and her sweet ole Bob
went north for the holidays.
Well, I am here to tell you that I have never seen more than three to four inches of snow on the ground at one time. Even that would have melted by mid-day!

Our plans were to leave Tennessee the day after Christmas
and visit Illinois through New Year's Day.
With travel advisories that called for survival kits,
we opted to set out on the 27th.

Christmas At Cheekwood

Often when visiting my daughter who lives in Nashville, Tn.
we find the time to visit the beautiful
Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art
Cheekwood
 is currently celebrating the holidays
by displaying festive Christmas Trees
designed and decorated by local
artists and designers.
Each tree represents a
"Christmas Classic".
