I don't know about you,
but this decorating has me
"PLUM TUCKERED OUT"
This is "Butters" cuz he is so fat plus he is always "tuckered out". Just stop what you're doing and take a break with me. I hosted my Bunco group here on Monday. We had a few of these Snapple Peach Teas left over. It was cold here today. I know, I know, we don't know cold weather when we pass it on the street. For Savannah, it was cold, maybe 57 Fahrenheit. |
A concoction of peach tea, cinnamon stick and a little nutmeg. Now let's warm that up a little.
While that's warming I will set my place.
My friend Margaret, remember "Tea For Margaret",
gave me these little holly cocktail napkins a few years ago. I will use one of those for a coaster.
You are getting a little peek into the decorations shaping up in the kitchen.
My placemat is actually a vintage dresser scarf. I am using a Nikko dessert plate. You will see the cup, shortly. I am treating myself to my antique International's Stratford salad fork and fruit spoon. I am using the fruit spoon for my beverage, just because I like it and I can!
Remember "This"
Remember "This"
Well, it has been cut, on Thanksgiving actually.
Add my mulled peach tea and I am set for my break.
My this is some fine dining! My, this fruitcake is yummy. It is so rich you can't eat much but you get a great sugar high. I will save some for Sweet Old Bob. You know that peach tea concoction is really tasty and warm, too!
You can see the mug better here. The mugs and dessert plates have matching designs. There are four designs in all, a wreath, bell, Christmas tree and ornament all formed with the leaves and berries.
Thanks for joining me. Don't you have a new burst of energy now? OK, let's get back to Decking the Halls.
Got to get ready for the Christmas Blog Party!
I am joining the following parties:
