Christmas Past!

My sincerest thanks to all my dear friends and relatives who prayed for my sweet daughter Kim. She did very well with the surgery. We are so pleased that they didn't find anything they didn't already know…a congenital condition that contributed to the loss of the first kidney. No "C" word or disease of the kidney, for that we are so thankful.
A stent is offering relief now and a reevaluation in a month will determine a more permanent solution. So glad this phase is over and she has relief. Please continue to remember her in your prayers.

We will be decorating for Christmas the first week of December so I want to share some scenes from Christmas past. Some of you may have seen these pics and some were before bogging and the pictures are not so great. I hope you enjoy!

Welcome to our home
we're so glad to have you visit!

Remember, don't peek, keep your tinsel straight and dream of sugar plums…
SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING TO TOWN!

I truly hope you enjoyed reminiscing about Christmas Past!
I will be back soon with this year's decor.
This year will be our sweet A. J.'s first Christmas!

Vintage Lace and Roses

Most of my blogger friends love anything
Vintage!

A few weeks back I was the lucky winner of a giveaway at
The awesome gift was six, five piece place settings of Mikasa's Vintage Lace.
Thank you Courtney and Mikasa!

Here is my interpretation of "Vintage Lace" and Roses.

"Vintage Lace" is paired with Wallace's Waltz Of Spring,  featuring a single sculptured rose on each handle. I chose this pattern when I was in high school. Do any of you remember the practice that tied in with major department stores?
A lovely  Alençon Lace Style French Lace tablecloth.
A garden style bouquet with roses.

Let's see how many vintage items I can mix and match with my beautiful gift!
